BC forward Joe Rooney caused a turnover along the right wing boards in the UNH end. Rooney slid a pass from the wall to teammate Benn Ferriero, who blasted a one-timer from high in the slot that rang off the right post and into the net behind UNH goalie Kevin Regan. Rooney picked up the only assist on Ferriero’s 22nd of the season.
