Spencer Abbott – Maine

Abbott has been a key reason behind Maine's early success in the month of October, leading the team to a 4-1-2 record in the month. He led the Black Bears with six goals and seven assists for 13 points in seven games in the month. He notched three power play goals and scored the game-winning goal against Vermont in overtime. He was one of two Black Bears to have a point in all seven games this season. Has had at least two points in six of Maine's seven contests.

Junior Goaltender; Wakefield, Mass.
Cannata started all five game in the month for the Warriors, posting a 2-1-2 record with a 2.44 GAA and a .931 save percentage. Stopped 70 of 75 shots in a home-and-home with #2 Boston College, including 24 shots on the power play in the first game. Has recorded 30 or more saves in four of five games, and 38 or more in three of five games.

Sahir Gill – Boston University

Gill has made impressive contributions right away and been a major reason for the Terriers' undefeated start (6-0-1). In October, Gill registered eight points (3g,5) in seven games and is tied for the team lead with a +7 rating. In just his second collegiate game, Gill tallied a goal and three assists to lead BU to a 5-4 victory over Notre Dame in the championship game of the Ice Breaker Tournament.
