• Merrimack earned its first-ever regular season win at Agganis Arena on Nov. 11 with a 3-2 overtime victory over the Terriers.

• Vermont junior forward Sebastian Stalberg has enjoyed five multi-point games in the Catamounts' last eight tilts, tallying four goals and eight assists during that span.

• Massachusetts senior forward T.J. Syner has notched at least one point in 17 of 19 games this season and is currently riding a seven-game point streak after recording two assists against Providence on Thursday night.

• Led by a pair of goals from freshman forward Kyle Reynolds, the Catamounts defeated the Minutemen 2-1 in the teams' last meeting on Nov. 22.

UNH vs. Maine (Sat. at Fenway Park, NESN) • Black Bear senior forward Spencer Abbott looks to continue his strong play into the month of January after being tabbed Athletic Republic Hockey East Player of the Month in December for his 15 points (6g, 9a) during that stretch. • The Wildcats will aim to get on the board early, as they are 6-1-0 this season when leading after two periods.

• Backed by a 31-save performance by senior netminder Matt DiGirolamo, UNH captured a 3-2 win over Maine in the teams' last meeting on Nov. 5 at the Whittemore Center.

No. 6 Merrimack at No. 4 Boston College (Sun. at Conte Forum) • Boston College has not dropped a game to the Warriors at Conte Forum since Oct. 31, 1997. • Junior forward Chris Kreider leads the Eagles with 25 points (14g, 11a), ranking him 12th in the nation.
