| The Warriors downed No. 5 ranked Union College by a 4-1 score on Saturday night at
Messa Rink in their season opener. Merrimack scored three goals in the final period and
went a perfect 5-for-5 on the penalty kill. It marked the Warriors first victory over a Top-5
team on the road since 2003. |
