Mullane recorded a league-high eight points (3g,5a) in top-ranked Boston
College's 4-1-0 month and registered +5 a plus-minus rating. He tallied
at least one point in all five games. Mullane registered two goals late in
the third period and the primary assist on the overtime game-winner in
the team's 5-4 come-from-behind win at Massachusetts (Oct. 19). Mullane
won 56.1% of his faceoff attempts (60-of-107).

CASEY DESMITH – NEW HAMPSHIRE

DeSmith went 4-0-1 in the month of October collecting a pair of
Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week awards. The sophomore
netminder posted a 1.77 GAA and a .931 save percentage. He
allowed three goals or fewer in every game in October and earned
a shutout on Oct. 27 against Northeastern. DeSmith ranks first in
league play with a 1.30 GAA and a .950 save percentage through
three games, all against nationally-ranked opponents. He has helped
the Wildcats out to their best start since the 2007-08 season.

| Gillies started all six games to begin his Friar career, posting a
1.72 GAA, a .938 save% and made 150 saves to go with a 3-2-1
record. His highlights included three wins, one shutout and leading
the Friars to a 1-1 tie at then No. 4 ranked Miami. |

| O'Connor got his collegiate career off to a fantastic start, posting
a 3-0-0 record with a .945 save percentage and a 1.75 GAA in the
month of October. His top performance came in Saturday's victory
at UMass, as he made 34 saves to allow the Terriers to earn a 3-2
come-from-behind victory. |
