JOHNNY GAUDREAU – BOSTON COLLEGE
Sophomore Forward; Carneys Point, N.J.
Gaudreau tallied at least a point in each game and finished with a team-high
14 points (7g,7a) and a +10 rating in 6-1-0 month. Recorded four
multiple-point performances, including a career-high five-point effort (and
+5 rating) against Dartmouth. Scored three game-winning goals and two
power-play goals. Gaudreau scored a point in every game in the month
for the Eagles. It marks the first time in his career that Gaudreau has
taken home Player of the Month honors.

HOCKEY EAST GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
CASEY DESMITH – NEW HAMPSHIRE
Sophomore Goaltender; Rochester, N.H.
DeSmith went 5-1-1 with a 1.65 GAA and a .951 save percentage
in the month for the Wildcats. He registered three consecutive
shutouts in the month, setting a UNH record for scoreless minutes
in the process at 203:32. DeSmith won the Hockey East Defensive
Player of the Week twice in November. He stopped 30+ shots on four
occasions, including a pair of 40-plus save performances. He wins
the award for the second consecutive month to start the season.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
MATT GRZELCYK - BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Freshman Defenseman; Charlestown, Mass.
Grzelcyk scored at least one point in seven of the eight contests in November
and totaled eight points (2g, 6a) and a plus-4 rating. Both of his
goals came against Boston College with the latter being the game-winner
on Nov. 30. He added six blocked shots in the month and committed just
one penalty over the eight contests.
