Roy registered 12 points (7g,5a) in six games played in October, recording a point in all six games, including five multi-point games and four-point effort with a hat trick in the season opener for the Huskies. His 12 points are tied for the most in the nation and his seven goals are the third best total in Div. I hockey. Roy's 1.17 points per game rank second nationally.

JON GILLIES - PROVIDENCE COLLEGE
Sophomore Goaltender; South Portland, Maine
Gillies went 3-0-1 in October, including two wins over then 11th-ranked Minnesota State and a win and a tie vs. No. 3 Miami. He posted a 1.71 GAA, made 130 saves and posted a .950 save percentage. Against Minnesota State on Oct. 12, Gillies made 38 saves to post his sixth career shutout. He allowed two goals or fewer in three of his four starts and posted 30+ three times.

VINCE HINOSTROZA - NOTRE DAME
Freshman Forward; Bartlett, Ill.
Hinostroza led Notre Dame in scoring with eights point (3g,5a) in his first six college games for the Fighting Irish in October. He is tied for second on the team with 17 shots on goal and is +3 on the year with one power play goal. He recorded a point in five of six games, including two multipoint efforts.
