HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS

Johnny Gaudreau, BC (Jr., F, Carneys Pt, N.J.) Followed up a two-goal performance against BU on Friday night with a five-assist game on Saturday night against Maine, giving him seven points on the weekend.

Bill Arnold, BC (Sr., F, Needham, Mass.) Posted a goal and three assists for four points in BC's 2-0-0 weekend against BU and Maine.

Kevin Duane, BU (Fr., F, New Canaan, Conn.) Scored BU's lone goal at UMass Lowell on Saturday and picked up an assist at BC on Friday.

Connor Hellebuyck, UML (So., G, Commerce, Mich.) Stopped 39 of 41 shots (.951 save%) with a 1-0-1 record in a pair of games against Maine and BU.

Brian Christie, MC (So., F, West Chester, Pa.) Recorded two goals and two assists in Merrimack's split with then-fifth-ranked Quinnipiac.

Clay Witt, NU (R-Jr., G, Brandon, Fla.) Went 1-1-0 against No. 18 Vermont, making a combined 74 saves (.937 save percentage) including 46 in Friday night's 3-2 win.

Mario Lucia, ND (So., F, Plymouth, Minn.) Had two goals and one assist for three points on the weekend as the Irish swept Lake Superior State. Lucia had a goal and an assist in the 6-3 win on Friday, and his power-play goal in Saturday's 4-2 win was the game winner.

Vince Hinostroza, ND (Fr., F, Bartlett, Ill.) Had four assists in the sweep of Lake Superior State. He recorded three assists in the 6-3 win, then set up Lucia's game winner in the 4-2 win on Saturday.

Noel Acciari, PC (R-So., F, Johnston, R.I.) Led the Friars to a 1-0-1 weekend at Colorado College with a goal and three assists for four points.

Chris McCarthy, UVM (Sr., F, Collegeville, Pa.) Scored three goals and added one assist in a weekend split against 11th-ranked Northeastern in Boston.

Mike Paliotta, UVM (Jr., D, Westport, Conn.) Collected three assists over the weekend in a two-game series against No. 11 Northeastern.
