HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS

Johnny Gaudreau, BC (Jr., F, Carney's Point, NJ) Earned First Star of BC's 4-3 win over Notre Dame at Fenway Park with two goals.

Cason Hohmann, BU (Jr., F, Arlington, Texas) Scored a goal and added an assist at Harvard on Saturday after missing five games to injury.

Conor Sheary, UMass (Sr., F, Melrose, Mass.) His three assists on Saturday night in a 4-3 loss to Northeastern gave him 60 in his career, cracking the UMass Top Ten (tied for 9th place.)

Joseph Pendenza, UML (Sr., F, Wilmington, Mass.) Had two key goals for River Hawks, only goal in Friday's 1-1 tie and GWG in Saturday's 4-3 win, both vs. Clarkson.

Mike Collins, MC, (Sr., F, Boston, Mass.) Scored the Warriors only goal in a 1-1 OT tie with Providence at Fenway Park on Saturday, adding to his team-leading point totals.

Cody Ferriero, NU (Sr., F, Essex, Mass.) Scored a GWG on the PP as the Huskies defeated UMass, 4-3, at Matthews Arena on Saturday.

T. J. Tynan, Notre Dame (Sr., F, Orland Park, Ill.) Posted a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Boston College at Fenway Park.

Steven Shamanski, PC (Sr., D, Carberry, MB) Had game-tying goal on the PP as the Friars tied Merrimack, 1-1, on Saturday at Fenway Park.

Chris McCarthy, Vermont (Sr., F, Collegeville, Penn.) Scored a pair of goals in the third period of a 3-3 tie with then #10 Yale before 4,007 at Gutterson Field House. The GTG came with 53 seconds remaining in regulation.

Pete Souris, Hockey East/UMass Lowell (UNH '01, Beverly, Mass.) Leaving Hockey East for full-time position at Lowell after six and a half strong seasons in the conference office. Now must cheer for a school other than the University of New Hampshire.
