Wakefield, Mass. - Hockey East announced today that at least four quarterfinal games will air on television in New England this weekend, including three of Saturday's four matchups.
New England Sports Network (NESN) will air Saturday afternoon's Game Two between top-seed Boston College and eight-seed Notre Dame at 4pm, following the network's coverage of the Boston Bruins vs. Carolina Hurricanes game. If any series goes to a third game, NESN will broadcast one of those games (TBD) at 4:30pm on Sunday.
Games One and Two of the series between third-place Providence and sixth-place Maine will air locally in both markets. Cox Sports will broadcast Friday and Saturday night's games (both at 7pm) in Rhode Island. In the Bangor area, WFVX FOX 22 will air Friday night's tilt and WVII ABC 7 will have Saturday night's game. Saturday night's Game Two between fourth-place New Hampshire and fifth-place Northeastern will air on WBIN.
Any television coverage for Sunday's games will be announced after the conclusion of Saturday night's games. All Hockey East Quarterfinal games that are not airing on NESN will be streamed online at www.hockeyeastonline.tv, courtesy of Pack Network.
