Gaudreau had a record-tying six points in a 6-2 win over Denver (3-3-6) and added two assists in a 4-3 win over UMass Lowell as BC won the Northeast Regional in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Scored the game-winning goal at 11:16 of the third period to lift BC to a thrilling 4-3 win over HE rival UMass Lowell in the final of the NCAA Northeast Regional in Worcester.

The Hockey East regular season champions will carry the conference banner to Philadelphia and the 2014 NCAA "Frozen Four" following their triumph in the NCAA Northeast Regionals in Worcester. BC defeated Denver, 6-2, and UMass Lowell, 4-3, and will face Union on Thursday, April 10, at 5:00 p.m. Union eliminated BC a year ago.

The following Hockey East players were chosen to All-Tournament Teams at their respective regionals: NORTHEAST: Johnny Gaudreau, Kevin Hayes and Michael Matheson of BC; Christian Folin, Connor Hellebuyck and Joseph Pendenza of UML; EAST: Chris McCarthy of UVM and Mark Jankowski of Providence.
