Goumas recorded five points (1g, 4a) in a split weekend series at Merrimack. In an important regular season-ending 5-2 win, he went 1-3-4 to help lead UNH to home-ice as the fourth seed in the Hockey East quarterfinals. His third assist on Saturday was the 100th of his career. Warrior

NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH
The Irish ended Boston College's 19-game undefeated streak with a 2-1 OT win at Conte Forum. On February 8, Notre Dame's league record was 4-9-1, with six games to go. The Irish finished 5-0-1, including 2-0-1 in road games at #12 Providence and #1 BC, to finish at 9-9-2.

HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS

Johnny Gaudreau, BC (Jr., F, Carneys Point, N.J.) Scored his 30th goal of the season against Notre Dame on Saturday, extending his point streak to 29 games, with 27 goals and 29 assists for 56 points during the streak.

Matt Lane, BU (So., F, Rochester, N.Y.) Recorded a pair of goals in the Terrier's 4-2 win at Northeastern on Saturday, helping BU earn their first road win of the season.

Joe Houk, UML (Sr., D, Richboro, Pa.) Scored game's only goal with 15 seconds left in OT to help UMass Lowell pull out a 1-0 win at Vermont.

Quinn Gould, MC (Jr., F, Fort McMurray, Alta.) Posted two goals and two assists for four points in Merrimack's home split with New Hampshire.

Steven Summerhays, ND (Sr., G, Anchorage, Alaska) Stopped 19-of-20 BC shots in a 2-1 win on Saturday, and the Eagles' goal ended Summerhays' school-record shutout streak of 231:50.

Braden Pimm, NU (Sr., F, Fort St. John, B.C.) Recorded a shorthanded goal on Friday night and then scored his 20th goal of the season on Saturday night in the Huskies' weekend series against the Terriers.

Noel Acciari, PC (So., F, Johnston, R.I.) Scored a goal and added two assists for a three-point weekend as the Friars posted a road sweep at Maine for the first time since 2007.

Mario Puskarich, UVM (Fr., F, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.) Posted his sixth game-winning goal of the season against seventh-ranked UMass Lowell on Saturday night in a 3-2 win at Gutterson Fieldhouse.

Brett Pesce, UNH (So., D, Tarrytown, N.Y.) Scored a goal in each of New Hampshire's games this weekend against Merrimack, extending the defenseman's point streak to ten games, with five goals and eight assists for 13 points during the streak.

Derek Army, PC (Sr., F, North Kingstown, R.I.) Posted three assists on Friday night at Maine to help the Friars hand the Black Bears just their second home loss of the season.
