- Maine is led offensively by a pair of sophomores forward Devin Shore (Ajax, Ont.) has 13 goals and 27 assists for 40 points, and blueliner Ben Hutton (Prescott, Ont.) has tied a program record for a defenseman with 13 goals on the season. Merrimack senior forward Mike Collins (Boston, Mass.) leads the Warriors in scoring with 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 points in 28 games. Collins has put up at least 25 points in each of his four seasons in North Andover.

- UVM senior forward Chris McCarthy (Collegeville, Pa.) has 16 goals and 24 assists for 40 points this season, becoming the first Catamount to record 40 points since Viktor Stalberg had 46 points during the 2008-09 season. The Minutemen have the second-best overall power play in Hockey East, and their percentage of 22.3% is seventh-best in Division I. UMass senior forward Michael Pereira (West Haven, Conn.) leads the team with eight power play goals.

Notre Dame Record: 20-12-2 (15-5-1 Home)
Boston University Record: 10-20-4 (1-11-1 Road)

- Notre Dame's senior class will be making their Hockey East Tournament debut after going 8-5 over the last three CCHA Tournaments, including winning the 2013 CCHA title. In those thirteen games, Jeff Costello (Milwaukee, Wis.) had five goals and five assists, while T.J. Tynan (Orland Park, Ill.) had ten points of his own with four goals and six assists. BU will look to carry momentum over from a sweep of then-ninth-ranked Northeastern last weekend.


Winners advance to Hockey East Quarterfinals on March 14-16. Lowest remaining seed faces (1) Boston College, second-lowest seed faces (2) UMass Lowell, and third-lowest seed faces (3) Providence.
