HOCKEY EAST NEWS FEED

GETS 400: With a 6-1 victory at UConn Sunday, Notre Dame head coach Jeff Jackson recorded his 400th career win. Jackson is just the seventh active head coach to reach that milestone and has done so in five seasons fewer than each of the others. He currently holds a .663 winning percentage for his career and leads all active NCAA Division I coaches in that statistic.

BRICK WALLS: Both of Vermont's goaltenders, junior Brody Hoffman (1.97) and sophomore Mike Santaguida (1.51), own goals against averages less than 2.00, making the Catamounts one of only two teams in the NCAA to own a tandem of netminders with GAAs below 2.00. The other team is Merrimack's pairing of Collin Delia (1.83) and Rasmus Tirronen (1.94)

WARRIOR BROOMS: No. 20 Merrimack used four points from freshman forward Brett Seney to sweep No. 12 Quinnipiac for the first time in program history.

DOWNING GOING UP: New Hampshire senior forward Grayson Downing racked up five points (4g, 1a) in three games this week, pushing his career total to 98 (49g, 49a). Downing now has two goals in three of his last four games. ROY ON FIRE: Northeastern senior forward Kevin Roy has picked up 13 points in his last eight games played (7g, 6a).
