WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Hockey East and the New England Sports Network (NESN) today announced that NESN will air 17 Hockey East contests in 2015-16, continuing a relationship that began in 1984 when both the league and network were founded. The slate of games is comprised of nine conference matchups, the Women's Hockey East championship game and four men's playoff tilts, including the semifinals and championship game from TD Garden. The NESN schedule begins this Friday (Oct. 23) when Notre Dame hosts No. 5 Minnesota Duluth at 6 p.m. on NESNplus. A full schedule can be found below.

"NESN and Hockey East share a history and a tradition of excellence that goes back to the founding of each organization more than 30 years ago," said Hockey East Commissioner Joe Bertagna. "We are thrilled to be able to extend this relationship."

"We have a commitment to grow hockey and serve fans in New England with a wide range of coverage," said Joseph Maar, NESN's Vice President of Programming and Production, Executive Producer. "We are excited to partner with Hockey East to provide viewers some of the best that the college game has to offer."

NESN will bring an exciting lineup of college hockey to New England, featuring each of the 12 Hockey East men's programs at least once this season. Included in the 2015-16 lineup is a rematch of the 2015 NCAA Frozen Four final game between No. 8 Boston University and No. 3 Providence (Nov. 13), the Battle of Comm. Ave between No. 4 Boston College and No. 8 Boston University (Jan. 15), and the Women's Hockey East Championship (March 6), hosted at Merrimack College's Lawler Rink.
