BU’s MacARTHUR WINS CCM/RBK PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER
~NU’s Thiessen earns Top Goalie Honors; UNH’s Thompson wins Top Rookie Award~

CCM / RBK Hockey Player of the Month
Pete MacArthur – Boston University
Senior Forward; Clifton Park, N.Y.

MacArthur totaled a league-high 15 points (8g,7a) in nine games leading the Terriers to four wins in the month. He recorded at least one point in eight of nine games for BU, while registering four multi-point efforts in the month. He closed out the month with a seven-game point streak. He also finished the month with 50 shots and a +7 plus/minus rating. MacArthur’s month was highlighted by a four point effort on Nov. 16 at Vermont in the 9-1 win and a three point night on Nov. 9 against Massachusetts. He also posted a goal in seven of the nine games. MacArthur had the game-winning goal in the 6-3 win over Cornell in front of 18,200 fans at a sold out Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Nov. 24.

ITECH Goaltender of the Month
Brad Thiessen – Northeastern
Sophomore Goaltender; Aldergrove, B.C.

Thiessen owned a 6-1-1 record in the month for the Huskies with a 2.30 GAA and a .917 save percentage. Went unbeaten in his last seven starts with a 6-0-1 record (1.62 GAA, .940 save percentage). Had a season-high 37 saves in NU’s 4-1 win at the Whittemore Center on Nov. 16 and made 35 saves the previous night in a 2-2 tie with BU at Matthews Arena. He allowed two goals or less in five of his eight starts for the No. 12 ranked Huskies.

Rookie of the Month
Paul Thompson – New Hampshire
Freshman Forward; Derry, N.H.

Thompson had nine points (5g,4a) in eight games in the month. He opened the month with two points in the 7-4 win over Northeastern on Nov. 2. He posted the game-tying goal in the 2-2 tie with UMass-Lowell on Nov. 9 and he tallied the primary assist on the game-winner vs. Boston College on Nov. 10. He amassed a career-high five points (3g,2a) in the 5-4 overtime win against Providence on Nov. 17 at Schneider Arena. In that game he recorded his first collegiate hat trick with the game-tying and gamewinning goal to give UNH the win.
