UNH’s RADJA WINS CCM/RBK PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR FebRUARY ~UNH’s Regan takes Goalie honors; BU’s Wilson tabbed as Top Rookie~

CCM / RBK Hockey Player of the Month
Mike Radja – New Hampshire
Senior Forward; Yorkville, Ill.

Radja was red-hot in the month of February tallying a point in all eight games of the month including five multi-point efforts. Radja recorded 16 points (5g,11a) in eight game averaging 2.0 points per game. Radja had three games with three points including a hat trick in a 3-2 win at Maine on Feb. 8. Radja also had three points including the game-winning goal in UNH’s 4-3 win over Providence on Feb. 16. Radja also surpassed the 100-point and 50 goal milestones during the month of February when the Wildcats went unbeaten at 7-0-1. He also recorded to game-winners on the month, Feb. 8 at Maine and Feb. 16 vs. Providence.

ITECH Goaltender of the Month
Kevin Regan – New Hampshire
Senior Goaltender; South Boston, Mass.

Regan was outstanding in the month of February for the No. 3 ranked Wildcats. The senior netminder went undefeated with a 7-0-1 mark, with a 1.24 GAA and a .962 save percentage. Regan had a shutout against Boston College on Feb. 22 at Conte Forum and he stopped a career-high 52 shots in a 1-1 tie at Providence on Feb. 15. Regan allowed two goals or less in seven of the eight games. He notched at least 25+ saves in seven of his eight starts in the month.

PRO AMBITIONS Rookie of the Month
Colin Wilson – Boston University
Freshman Forward; Winnipeg, Man.

Wilson also had a great month with 10 points (5g,5a) for the Terriers with a +9 rating. in the month of February. He helped the Terriers post an 8-1-0 record in the month, including a perfect 7-0-0 record in league play. He scored the overtime game-winner with 1:30 remaining against Maine on Feb. 16 at Agganis Arena in the 1-0 shutout. He also notched the game-winning goal on Feb. 11 vs. Northeastern. Wilson recorded a point in five of nine games with the month, which included two three-points outings on Feb. 8 at UMass-Lowell and Feb. 11 in the Beanpot consolation game vs. NU.
