Sislo potted five goals and seven points with a +5 rating in just
three games lifting the Wildcats to a perfect 3-0-0 mark in December.
Sislo’s huge month was powered by a four-goal, six-point
performance to close out 2008 in a 9-4 win over Holy Cross. He
scored an insurance goal and helped the Wildcats secure a 2-0
victory over on Dec. 5 to open the month.

ITECH Goaltender of the Month
Kieran Millan – Boston University
Freshman Goaltender; Edmonton, Alb.

Millan led Terriers to undefeated month (2-0-1) with a 1.30
GAA and a .938 save percentage...Held BC scoreless
for a span of just under 100 minutes during the Terriers’
three-point weekend against their archrival. He registered
61 saves in the month, allowing two goals or less in all
three starts.

PRO AMBITIONS Rookie of the Month
Gustav Nyquist – Maine

Nyquist led Maine with three goals and three assists for six
points in six games in December with a point in five of the six
games. He dished out an assist in Maine’s 2-3 overtime loss to
Northeastern and scored a power play goal in Maine’s 3-2 win
over Merrimack. Nyquist tallied an assist in Maine’s 3-1 win over
Union and two goals in then he score two goals in Maine’s 5-1
victory over Union. He also notched game-winner in the game
against the Dutchmen.
