Stålberg led No. 7 Vermont to a 5-2-2 month while registering
12 points (8g,4a). Six of Vermont’s nine games were against opponents
ranked in the Top-18 of the latest PairWise Ratings. He
recorded at least one point in eight of nine games and scored at
least one goal in seven of nine contests. He finished the month
with 51 shots on goal and averaged 5.67 shots per game. He had
four points (3g) in a weekend split at No. 3 Northeastern on Jan.
16/17 on his way to being named HEA Player of the Week.

Millan posted a perfect 7-0-0 record in the month for the
Terriers with a impressive 1.00 GAA and a .957 save percentage.
He gave up one goal or less in six of his seven
starts vs. four nationally ranked opponents, which included
a 5-0 shutout vs. UNH on Jan. 23rd.

Brad Thiessen – Northeastern
Junior Goaltender; Aldergrove, B.C.

Thiessen led Northeastern to a 6-3-0 month of January,
posting a 2.22 GAA and a .928 save percentage. He held
opponents to a single goal five times and Northeastern won
all five of those games. In seven Hockey East games he went
5-2-0 with a 2.29 GAA and .929 save percentage.

Wellman finished second on the team with 8 points (3g,5a) and
had a team-best +4 rating for January. Two of his goals were
on the power play and his goal at Vermont in the season finale
earned a tie. He started the month with a four-game scoring
streak including two assists at New Hampshire and a goal and
an assist against Providence.
