WAKEFIELD, Mass. - The Hockey East Association and B2 Networks announced today that they will broadcast the
men’s and women’s Hockey East tournament live on the internet for the fourth consecutive season.
B2 Networks online coverage will begin on Saturday, February 27 with the women’s quarterfinal playoff games held
on the campus of the third and fourth seeds, while they will also carry the WHEA semifinals on Saturday, March 6 at the
site of the top seed in the tournament. B2 Networks will also broadcast a minimum of seven of the men’s quarterfinal
games hosted at campus sites March 12-14 for the three-game playoff series at campus sites.
“We are excited to partner with B2 Networks again this season,” said Hockey East commissioner Joe Bertagna.
“This partnership will assist us in bringing the both Hockey East Tournaments to more of our fans across the country
and around the world.”
Hockey East Tournament games will be available for viewing by a worldwide audience and will be aired through
www.hockeyeastonline.com as well as www.b2tv.com. Fans wanting to watch hockey games via B2 Networks will need
a high-speed Internet connection and a current version of Microsoft Windows Media Player. Games will be sold on an
individual basis for $8 (US). The Hockey East Tournament men’s pass for viewing all games broadcast by B2 will be
made available for $50 dollars, while the women’s tournament pass will be only $20. Fans can own a personal copy of
each game by going to www.b2tv.com and downloading the event from B2onDemand for a price of just $19.95 per
game.

The Hockey East Association is a 10-team Division I college men’s hockey conference and an eight-team Division I
women’s league which began play in 2002-03. Founded in 1983, the men’s league has won six NCAA championships
in the past 17 years.
