NORTH ANDOVER, MA - The Merrimack hockey team dropped a 4-2 decision to fifth-ranked Boston College Sunday afternoon at Lawler Arena.

Francois Ouimet and Matt Jones each scored their second goals of the season as Merrimack outshot Boston College 35-33 in the contest.

Jones tallied his second of the season just 22 seconds into the second period on a shorthanded breakaway. Captain Derek Pallardy picked up the assist.

The back-breaking and eventual game-winning goal came at 3:07 of the second as Greene capitalized on Warrior turnover down low and scored his second of the game. Greene's goal signaled the end of the day for goaltender Pat Watson who stopped nine of the 12 shots he faced.

Andrew Braithwaite stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced in just under 37 minutes of action in relief of Watson.

Ouimet's goal came as time expired in the game as he fired a shot through the legs of freshman goaltender John Muse. Rob Ricci and Justin Bontitatibus picked up the assists on the power-play goal.

Greene posted three shots and was a +2 while being named the game's first star. Muse stopped 33 shots for the victory.
