With Nichols pulled in favor of an extra attacker, UConn's Max Letunov scored his second goal of the night to make it 3-2 with 23.6 seconds remaining in regulation.

Sophomore Brandon Hickey sealed the victory with a long empty-netter thanks to senior Danny O'Regan's third assist of the night.
