FIRST GOAL (1-0 - BC) FIRST PERIOD -Zach Walker - 5:39 - EVEN STRENGTH - Connor Moore chased down a puck and was able to poke it out to a streaking Mike Booth behind the Eagles' net. Zach Walker waited near the halfwall and gathered it at the top of Boston College's zone. Walker had no one in front of him and streaked three-quarters the length down the ice and snapped a quick wrist shot past Hayden Hawkey on his short side for the early 1-0 lead at 5:39 of the first frame.

SECOND GOAL (1-1 - BC) FIRST PERIOD - Brian Pinho - 17:14 - POWER PLAY - The Friars cashed in on their second power play opportunity of the night when Scott Conway faked a slap shot at the top of the blue line and deftly slid the puck down to Erik Foley on near post. Joe Woll switched over to cover Foley, leaving Brian Pinho unattended and able to send in the cross-crease one-timer pass at 17:14 to make it a 1-1 game.

THIRD GOAL (2-1 - BC) SECOND PERIOD - Matthew Gaudreau - 00:59 - EVEN STRENGTH - Casey Fitzgerald and Scott Savage helped break up a Providence rush and Fitzgerald was able to scoop it up to Chris Calnan already in flight. Calnan flew down the right side of the sheet with Matthew Gaudreau to his left and Austin Cangelosi flanked on the other side. Calnan walked his defender down and perfectly timed his pass to Gaudreau in the slot. With not a Friar in sight, Gaudreau patiently picked his spot and ripped it past Hawkey 59 seconds into the frame for his third goal of the season.

FOURTH GOAL (3-1 - BC) THIRD PERIOD - Ron Greco - 17:18 - EVEN STRENGTH - Gaudreau helped trigger the play by supply Michael Kim with the puck at the point, just within the blue line. Kim blasted his slap shot into Friar traffic and the puck trickled right down to Ron Greco's stick. Greco stepped into it and rifled it to the back of the net from the slot to add some insurance to the Eagles' advantage, 3-1, with 2:42 left in regulation.
