Junior defenseman Dante Fabbro scored two goals for the Terriers

BOSTON - Junior Dante Fabbro scored the first two goals of the game to help the Boston University men's ice hockey team claim a 4-1 victory over No. 13/14 Northeastern on Saturday evening at Agganis Arena.

It marked the first career win for head coach Albie O'Connell and allowed the Terriers to take three of four points in the home-and-home series with their crosstown rival following a 5-5 draw at Matthews Arena on Thursday.

Junior Chad Krys had three assists and classmate Patrick Curry notched a shorthanded goal and a helper. Senior Bobo Carpenter scored the eventual game-winner as the Terriers picked up their first win of the season.

BU now stands at 1-4-1 overall and 1-2-1 in Hockey East while the Huskies fall to 4-3-1 with a 1-1-1 conference mark.
