~BU's Poulin named Top Rookie; PC's Lacasse earns Top Goalie honor~

Stack finished October 15-9-6 in eight games for the Eagles, leading the team to a 6-0-2 record in the month. She eceived one Player of the Week award on Nov. 1st. She has started every game at center and has scored at least one goal in all but two games. Stack has scored points in every game. She leads the team in points, goals, power play goals, and shorthanded goals. She had a hand in all three goals against Connecticut on 10/31 (1g,2a) and was also featured in all three goals at Vermont on 10/15 (2g,1a). She scored a hat trick at Syracuse on 10/9.

Lacasse led the Friars to a 6-2-1 record in the month with a 1.64
GAA and a .949 save percentage to go along with two shutouts. She
amassed a league-high 281 saves in the month and recorded 30+
saves six times in the month, which included two 40 saves outings,
most recently in the 2-2 tie with No. 5 ranked BU on Oct. 28.

Marie-Philip Poulin – Boston University
Freshman Forward; Beauceville, Que. |
Poulin enjoyed an outstanding start to her collegiate career, leading
the nation's freshmen in goals (9) and points per game (2.00) in
eight October games. She also led Hockey East freshmen in goals,
assists and points, and ranked first among all Hockey East players in
shorthanded goals (3). In addition, Poulin matched a program record
with three shorthanded markers in just four games. The Beauceville,
Que., native recorded a seven-game point-scoring streak to start
the season (9g,7a).
