Connecticut vs. No. 6 Boston College - Two-Game Series (Sat. at UConn, Sun. at BC)
• The Eagles won the first meeting of the season series on Jan. 22 by a 3-1 score at Freitas Ice Forum.
BC's Emily Walsh and Danielle Welch each notched two points in the win, while Corinne Boyles notched 27
saves in the victory for the Eagles.
• BC's Alex Carpenter's 14 points (8g,6a) in league play rank third among WHEA rookies.
• Emily Snodgrass has notched a point in five of the last six games for the Huskies with six points (2g,4a)
during that time.
New Hampshire vs. Providence - Two-Game Series (Sat. at UNH, Sun. at PC)
• Providence won the first matchup of the year with a 6-2 victory on Nov. 13 at Schneider Arena. PC's
Laura Vehranta notched a game-high three points (1g,2a) for the Friars. UNH's penalty kill was a perfect
6-for-6 in the game.
• Ashley Cottrell has amassed six points (3g,3a) in her last two games for the Friars, en route to being
named Athletic Republic Player of the Week on Monday.
• The Wildcats have allowed a league-low eight third period goals this season in league play.
Maine at No. 7 Northeastern - Two-Game Series (Sat., Sun. at Matthews Arena)
• Northeastern won the first meeting of the season at Alfond Arena by a 3-2 mark on Oct. 28th. The
Huskies went 2-for-8 on the power play in the game. Kendall Coyne and Brittany Esposito each registered
two points in the game for Northeastern.
• Florence Schelling's 1.46 GAA, 460 saves and 12 wins leads the league for the Huskies and her .948
save percentage ranks second in the conference.
• Maine's Brittany Dougherty's 19 points (12g,7a) in league play is the fifth best total among conference
players.
• Casey Pickett's overtime winner at the 5:27 mark of the extra frame ended No. 7 Northeastern's
13-year Beanpot drought in the come-from-behind 4-3 victory vs. BU Tuesday. It marked Northeastern's 15
Beanpot Championship in school history.
No. 10 Boston Univesity at Vermont - Two-Game Series (Sat., Sun. at Gutterson Fieldhouse)
• The Terriers took the first matchup of the season series on Jan. 21st with a 6-2 win at Walter Brown
Arena. Jenn Wakefield notched a career-high six points with her first career hat trick for the Terriers.
• Amanda Pelkey's eight points (3g,5a) in conference games ranks tied for ninth among Hockey East
rookies.
