~NU's Kendall Coyne named Top Rookie; Maine's Brittany Ott takes Top Goalie honor ~

Wakefield notched eight goals and added seven assists for 15 points
during the month of January, leading her team to a 5-3-0 record. She
scored a point in every game this month and had three multi-point efforts
to her credit, which included a six-point effort against Vermont on January
21st. She finished the month with a five-game goal scoring streak
for the Terriers.

WHEA GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH |
Brittany Ott - Maine
Junior Goaltender; St. Clair Shores, Mich. |
Ott earned a record of 3-1-1 during the month of January with
a 1.76 GAA and a .940 save percentage. Of the three wins she
recorded, two were on a road-sweep against Boston University
where she made 66 saves on the 70 shots she faced, including
a 44 save performance in the second game. Ott made a total of
142 saves in the month of Janaury.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH |
Kendall Coyne - Northeastern
Freshman Forward; Palos Heights, Ill. |
Coyne had the game-winner in three of the Huskies' four January
wins, while tallying 13 points (8g,5a) for the month. She got the new
year off in style with two goals against Clarkson, and completed a 2-1
comeback win against Providence with a third-period marker. Then,
in an eight-point weekend, Coyne opened the scoring before adding
three assists in an 8-0 rout of UNH. The next day, she recorded
her first career hat trick in a four-point game against Vermont. She
finished the month with a point in six of eight games with three
multiple-point performances.
