| Poulin notched five points (3g,2a) in the series sweep of Providence, including her third career
hat trick and an assist in a 6-4 win over Providence on Saturday.
She also had an assist on Friday night in a 4-3 win over the Friars.
Poulin finished the two games with 14 shots on goal. |

| Douville made 63 saves to shutout Connecticut in back-to-back games as Vermont earned
a sweep in Storrs over the weekend. She made 36 saves in the opening game of the series
on Saturday at Freitas Ice Forum and followed that up with a 27-save shutout on Sunday. |

The Eagles are averaging 4.73 goals per game, good for first in the Hockey
East and third in the NCAA...The 11 game unbeaten streak (9-0-2) continues to
be the longest in program history...Coach Katie King Crowley is one win away
from 100 in her career at BC...Alex Carpenter is tied for second in the NCAA
with four game-winning goals.
Boston University: BU is now 11-3-1 overall with a 6-2-1 mark in Hockey East
play…Junior co-captain Marie-Philip Poulin notched her third career hat trick on
Saturday against Providence…It was her first hat trick since Jan. 22, 2011,
against Vermont…The Terriers have now won their last five games against
Providence…Senior Isabel Menard scored both game-winning goals this weekend
and has factored in the Terriers' last three game-winners…Menard has a sixgame
point streak (3g,7a)…BU is 4-0-1 when Menard lights the lamp…Poulin
has scored a point in every game this season shorthanded goal on Saturday
was the 50th goal of her career…Junior Kerrin Sperry earned her 50th career
win on Saturday…Junior Louise Warren is currently riding a six-game point
streak (5g,4a).
University of Connecticut: UConn was shutout in a weekend series for the
first time since November 4-5, 2011 against Northeastern and for the first time
at home since November 15-16, 2003 against No. 2 Dartmouth...Freshman
Elaine Chuli totaled 52 saves in two games against the Catamounts...Friday's
loss snapped a 10-game home winning streak against UVM; UConn's all-time
series lead is now 18-4-2.
University of Maine: The Black Bears fell to 2-10-1, 1-8-0 in WHEA with a
7-2 loss on Friday and a 10-0 loss on Saturday. The Eagles were able to quiet
freshman forward Audra Richards who is tied for the team lead in goals at five.
Dougherty pushes her point's lead to 12 with a first period goal in Friday's 7-2
loss....Maine saw all three goalies in action this weekend with Brittany Ott getting
both losses, seeing her record move to 2-5-1. Ott allowed 11 goals while
notching 56 saves in the two games.
University of New Hampshire: New Hampshire picked up a pair of points in
conference play this weekend after tallying a 1-1-0 record against Northeastern.
In Sunday's 3-1 win, UNH notched a pair of power play goals in three opportunities
and killed 5-of-6 penalties in the two games. Jenn Gilligan tallied 31 saves
in net on Sunday while Arielle O'Neill tallied a pair of points on a goal and an
assist. Four different Wildcats scored goals in the two games
Northeastern University: Casey Pickett became the 21st player in program
history to record 100 career points (50g,50a). She is also tied for 19th on the
NU record list for career goals...The NU power play ranks third in the nation
(17-of-56; 30.4%), and has netted at least one power play tally in 10 of its last
12 games…Maggie DiMasi recorded her second career two-goal effort on
Saturday…Kendall Coyne has at least one point in nine of her last 10 games,
including seven multi-point efforts; she is fifth in the nation in points per game
(2.07).
Providence College: The Friars posted two close fought matches that were
decided in the final minutes of play. The Friars have posted a 6-2-2 home record
and a 2-5-2 away record thus far on the season. Seventeen different players
have notched at least one point for the Friars on the season, 16 of those 17
have notched more than one. Though the Friars have been outscored on the
season by their opponents, they have outshot their opponents 566-516. The
majority of Friar goals have come in the second period, with 23 of their 58
goals scored in the second period.
University of Vermont: Roxanne Douville made 63 saves to shutout Connecticut
in back-to-back games as Vermont earned its first sweep of a Hockey
East season series … The Catamounts are undefeated in their last five Hockey
East contests, the best streak in program history…Junior forward Danielle
Rancourt scored her second game-winning goal of the season on Sunday at
UConn…Senior captain Erin Wente had two goals and an assist to lead the
Catamounts this weekend, her two goals moved her into a tie with 25 career
goals, a division I record at Vermont.
