Pfalzer took a feed from Alex Carpenter and circled the slot before beating MacDonald far side with a wrister at the 12:36 mark. Shots on goal after 40 minutes were 31-27 in favor of St. Lawrence.

The Saints cut the BC lead to 3-2 at the 25 second mark of the third on a goal by Abbey McRae and then netted the equalizer at 9:40 with a Kelly Sabatine tally.
