GAME RECAP

- BC took a 1-0 lead at 9:45 of the first period on Keller's power-play goal from the top of the right circle. UNH entered the game 19-for-20 (95%) on the penalty kill.

- The Eagles took that one-goal lead and 8-4 shot advantage into the first intermission.

- Taylor Wenczkowski (Rochester, N.H.) scored the only goal of the second stanza to tie the score 1-1 heading into the third period.

- Marie-Jo Pelletier (Dalhousie, New Brunswick) initiated the scoring sequence with a tape-to-tape pass through the neutral zone to Carlee Turner (Scottsdale, Ariz.). Turner entered the offensive zone in the high slot and slipped a pass to the right wing, where Wenczkowski settled the puck and fired a shot into the upper-right corner of the cage.

- BC scored its next two goals off rebounds to build a 3-1 lead. Smith stopped Keller's initial shot but Capizzano corralled the rebound and lifted a shot under the crossbar to put the Eagles back in front, 2-1, at 4:22. Newkirck buried a rebound off Capizzano's shot at 10:02 for the two-goal advantage.

- Smith was pulled in favor of an extra skater with 2:25 remaining, but reentered the game 23 seconds later. She returned to the bench with 1:43 on the clock.

- Bizal sealed the outcome when she collected the puck near the defensive blue line, skated to center ice and sent a shot into the empty net at 18:53.

'CAT NIPS

- Wenczkowski moved into a tie for the team lead with her second goal of the season.

- The assist marked Turner's first career point.
