GAME RECAP
* UNH held the Bobcats scoreless through 40 minutes on just 16 shots.
* Turner gave the visitors a 1-0 lead 47 seconds into the third period. She stole the puck in the offensive zone, skated down the left circle and lifted a shot near-side into the corner.
* It remained a one-goal game with two minutes left in regulation, but that quickly changed when Quinnipiac scored goals 34 seconds apart.
* Cianfarano initiated the scoring sequence with a pass from the left wing down low to Samoskevich. She settled the puck and slipped a pass in front to Woods, who deposited the puck into the open net.
* The Wildcats pulled goaltender Hilary Cashin (Fredericton, New Brunswick) with 80 seconds left in regulation. Moments later, however, Turner gaine possession in the neutral zone and sent the puck off the right boards the length of the ice. The puck rebounded off the end boards to the front of the empty net, and Prater won the race and tapped the puck in for a 3-0 lead at 18:57.
* QU and goalie Sydney Rossman won 3-0 for the third consecutive game.
SCORING CHANCES
* New Hampshire recorded just three shots in the second period but generated two dangerous scoring chances. With five minutes on the clock, Meghara McManus (Milton, Mass.) skated behind the net and beat Rossman on a wraparound to the left post, but QU defenseman Emma Greco made a sliding play across the crease to deny the goal.
* In the closing minute of the middle stanza, McManus found Carlee Toews (Grand Prairie, Alberta) in the low slot, but her backhander was stopped by Rossman.
* Midway through the final frame, Carlee Turner (Scottsdale, Ariz.) advanced into the zone on the left boards. She snapped a pass to Taylor Wenczkowski (Rochester, N.H.) in the near circle and her hard centering pass was one-timed in the slot by Jonna Curtis (Elk River, Minn.) just wide of the right post.
