DURHAM, N.H. - Sophomore Nicole Dunbar (Coto de Caza, Calif.) recorded the lone goal for UNH as the Wildcats were defeated by Boston College, 5-1 on Sunday, Jan. 7 at the Whittemore Center in Durham, N.H. Julia Fedeski (Algonquin Highlands, Ontario) and Devan Taylor (North Billerica, Mass.) recorded an assist on the goal.

Caitrin Lonergan led the way for Boston College as she recorded two goals and two assists in the contest. Kenzie Kent scored two goals and notched one assist for the Eagles while Daryl Watts scored one goal and one assist.

The Wildcats will return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 10 (7 p.m.) when they hit the road for a conference battle against Merrimack. They will then return home for a weekend series against the University of Connecticut on Saturday, Jan. 13 (2 p.m.) and Sunday, Jan. 14 (2 p.m.). Tickets for all home games can be purchased here.

- BC got on the board first at 5:28 of the first period as Kent put one past Ava Boutilier. Lonergan assisted on the goal.

- Dunbar tied the game for the Wildcats at 14:05 of the first period with a power play goal assisted by Fedeski and Taylor.

- Lonergan capitalized on a power play opportunity as she scored for BC off of an assist from Watts and Kent at 4:48 of the second period to give the Eagles a 3-1 lead.
