Holy Cross Falls To Brown, 3-1

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team lost to Brown University, 3-1, Friday evening.

Senior Maeve Reilly scored her first goal of the season and seniors Amanda Kewer and Danielle Doherty registered assists on the tally, but it wasn't enough as the Bears scored a goal in each of the three periods to claim the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED

1-0 Brown (1st, 14:10, EV): After a shot and a save by Brenon, there was some shoving in front of the Crusaders' goal. Brown's Casey Bridget found the loose puck and put it in.

1-1 (2nd, 4:30, EV): The Bears tried to clear the puck out of their end, but couldn't get it by Amanda Kewer. She found Danielle Doherty who was lurking behind the goal and Doherty fed it through to Reilly right in front who beat Isaac.

2-1 Brown (2nd, 7:32, EV): Very similar to the first goal, only this time it was Jacquie Tam with the score.

3-1 Brown (3rd, 0:00, EV): Brown created a turnover and Sena Hanson went one-on-one with Brenon and found the back of the net.
