WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's hockey team tied RPI, 2-2, on Oct. 27. The Crusaders saw two different goal scorers and sustained offensive pressure for the majority of the game.

The first period saw an even 9-9 shots with the Engineers taking a 1-0 lead just over the midway point. The Crusaders earned the lone power play of the period and picked up three shots but could not convert.

The Crusaders controlled play in the second period, outshooting the Engineers, 25-4, in the frame. With two power play opportunities, Holy Cross hit the post on both. Despite the offensive pressure, the Crusaders did not break through.

Holy Cross broke through early in the third to even the score, 1-1, before adding another to take the lead, 2-1. A late RPI power play evened the score line once again and forced overtime. After 60 minutes, the Crusaders held a 49-19 shot advantage.

RPI held the shot advantage in the overtime period, 4-3, but neither team was able to convert for the win.
