NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - The Merrimack women's ice hockey team swept the weekend with a 2-1 victory on Saturday night over the RPI Engineers.
The Warriors took the game with a first-star performance by freshman Erin Gorski for her first career win.

How It Happened
1-0 MER: Mikyla Grant-Mentis scored her second goal of the weekend and the season, firing a bouncing puck from the slot to give the Warriors a lead in the first.
1-1 RPI: The Engineers tied a game after a scrum deep in the Warriors crease, taking the tally late in the second after a referee review.
2-1 MER: Off the faceoff, Courtney Maud handled a rolling puck that kicked back into the slot off the boot of an RPI defender to give Merrimack.
