Union, which converted 3-of-7 man advantage opportunities in the contest and held the Eagles' scoreless on their seven power-play chances, tallied a 35-30 advantage in shots, including a 27-14 combined advantage in the first two periods.

Junior goaltender Troy Groseneck recorded 29 saves for the victors. BC senior goaltender Parker Milner registered 30 saves in the losing effort. He fell to 22-11-4 and concluded his four-year career 64-20-5.
