Freshman forward Luke Tuch scored two goals for the Terriers

BOSTON - Freshman Vinny Duplessis made 40 saves in his collegiate debut and classmate Luke Tuch scored a pair of goals to lead the No. 15 Boston University men's ice hockey team to a 3-1 victory over top-ranked Boston College on Saturday evening at Walter Brown Arena.

After giving up the first goal of the game, the Terriers scored once in each period with Duplessis making at least 13 saves in each frame.

Sophomore Alex Vlasic tied up the game with his second goal of the weekend before Tuch scored the go-ahead goal midway through regulation. Tuch added another in the opening moments of the third before the Terriers closed out the win to take four of six points in the home-and-home series.

BU improves to 6-2-0 on the year while the Eagles fall to 11-3-1.
