- Matt Boldy put the Eagles on the board 4:25 into the opening stanza. Boldy's goal was followed with a second by Marc McLaughlin six minutes later, leaving the Friars down 2-0 going into the first intermission.
-The Eagles extended its lead with three goals in the middle frame from Nikita Nesterenko, Colby Ambrosio, and Matt Boldy, consecutively, heading into the final period 5-0.
-The Eagles closed out the game with four goals in the third period from Logan Hutsko, Trevor Kuntar (2), and Colby Ambrosio.
-Sixteen different players recorded a shot on goal for Providence.
- Mollot-Hill stopped 21-of-28 shots he faced tonight.
-Graduate transfer Anton Martinsson made his Friar debut on Saturday night.
- Michael Callahan and Brett Berard had a team-high of four shots on goal apiece.
- The shutout marked the second time that Providence was blanked this season.
