GAME FLOW & NOTES
-The Huskies got on the board five minutes into the opening stanza with a goal from Chloe Aurard, assisted by Alina Mueller.
-Skylar Fontaine scored Northeastern's second goal less than two minutes later on the power play, assisted by Alina Mueller and Brooke Hobson. The Friars entered the first intermission trailing 0-2.
-The Friars made a push in the middle period, outshooting the Huskies by a 10-7 margin, however, Northeastern's Alina Mueller scored in the final minutes of the period to carry a 3-0 lead into the second intermission.
-Northeastern capitalized twice on the power play in the final frame. Tessa Ward scored 4:36 into the third period, assisted by Veronika Pettey and Megan Carter. Alina Muller followed up 8 minutes later, assisted by Skylar Fontaine, to seal their win at 5-0.
-Freshman Mireille Kingsley (Sudbury, Ontario) made her collegiate debut in net.
