Sophomore forward Katy Knoll and junior forward Chloé Aurard each had a goal and an assist for the Huskies

BURLINGTON, Vt. - Chloé Aurard earned her 100th career point with a goal and an assist, while Alina Mueller scored the game-winning goal to lead No. 2 Northeastern (17-1-1 Hockey East) to a 4-1 victory over Vermont (6-4-0 Hockey East) on Saturday afternoon inside Gutterson Fieldhouse. Aurard is the 32nd player in Northeastern women's hockey history to reach this milestone and leads Hockey East with 13 goals this season, second-best in the NCAA.

Mueller tallied her second game-winner of the season after extending the Huskies' lead to 2-0 late in the second period. With her ninth goal of the season, Mueller is able to push her NCAA-leading point total to 31. Mia Brown notched her third goal of the season with 1:04 left to play in the second period.

Katy Knoll led off scoring in the first period after recording her 10th goal of the season with the assist coming from goaltender Aerin Frankel. Frankel played in her 100th career game last night and has tallied 73 career wins after the conclusion of this road series. Maureen Murphy, Andrea Renner and Knoll also had helpers this afternoon.

The second-ranked Huskies have clinched the No. 1 seed in the Hockey East tournament and lead the country with a 17-game unbeaten streak. Northeastern has not allowed more than one goal in 11 straight contests.
