AROUND HOCKEY EAST: The 2015-16 Women's Hockey East season kicks off this weekend with seven of the nine member schools skating in exhibition contests while Northeastern opens regular-season play at St. Lawrence. The Boston University Terriers, reigning Hockey East tournament champions, open at home against Guelph while the Eagles of Boston College face the same program Friday night. The Merrimack Warriors will also make their debut at the Division I level Friday night, skating in a preseason contest against the Whitby Wolves.
