AROUND HOCKEY EAST: Boston University swept Merrimack in a two-game set, taking the first game, 7-3, Friday before senior goaltender Victoria Hanson (Stoughton, Mass.) collected her first career shutout in a 2-0 win Saturday. Terrier sophomore forward Rebecca Leslie (Ottawa, Ont.) racked up four points (3g, 1a) in the 7-3 victory, including her first hat trick, while rookie Breanna Scarpaci (Washington, Mich.) scored her first NCAA goal to break a 2-2 tie in the third period Friday and dished out her first assist on Saturday's game-winning goal ... New Hampshire's Jonna Curtis (Elk River, Minn.) pushed the Wildcats to their first win over Harvard since 2006 with the overtime winner Tuesday at the Whittemore Center. She then set up each of the two New Hampshire goals in a 2-1 league victory over Providence Sunday ... Providence split a weekend series with New Hampshire, taking the first game, 6-3, on Saturday before dropping Sunday's finale 2-1. Brooke Boquist (Thunder Bay, Ont.) and Christina Putigna (Grimsby, Ont.) each had four points in the two-game set ... No. 10 Northeastern skated to a pair of stalemates with league rivals Vermont and No. 6 Boston College. Sophomore netminder Brittany Bugalski (Boynton Beach, Fla.) stopped 56 of 61 shots in the two games, including a season-high 36 against the Eagles ... In Boston College's lone tilt of the weekend, freshman forward Caitirin Lonergan (Roslindale, Mass.) extended her point streak to eight games entering the Thanksgiving break ... After skating to a draw with Northeastern Friday, Vermont again went into an extra frame against UConn on Sunday. Catamount goaltender Madison Litchfield (Williston, Vt.) made 24 stops in a 3-3 tie with the Northeastern before kicking out 31 shots against UConn in a 1-1 game. Alyssa Gorecki (Monee, Ill.) scored two of three UVM goals Friday against Northeastern ... UConn toppled Maine, 5-3, Friday before skating to 1-1 tie at Vermont Sunday.

JONNA CURTIS - NEW HAMPSHIRE

Jonna Curtis (Elk River, Minn.) had a pair of multipoint games (2g, 2a) in three outings to tie for the league lead in points scored last week. Curtis scored the overtime goal to lift UNH over Harvard, 3-2, Tuesday and set up both Wildcats' goals in a 2-1 win against Providence Sunday.

BREANNA SCARPACI - BOSTON UNIVERSITY

Breanna Scarpaci (Washington, Mich.) broke a 2-2 tie in the third period with her first career goal to push the Terriers to a 7-3 win over Merrimack. Her first career assist then came on the game-winning tally in a 2-0 win over the Warriors on Saturday.

HILARY CASHIN - NEW HAMPSHIRE

Hilary Cashin (Fredericton, N.B.) collected two wins in two appearances last week with a 1.46 goals against average and .958 save percentage, stopping 40 of 42 shots in a 3-2 overtime win against Harvard last Tuesday and 29 against Providence in a 2-1 win Sunday.

HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS

Rebecca Leslie, BU (So., F; Ottawa, Ont.) Tied for the Hockey East lead with four points (3g, 1a) last weekend, helping in a sweep of Merrimack by scoring her first career hat trick in Friday's 7-3 win.

Victoria Hanson, BU (Sr., G; Stoughton, Mass.) Stopped 29 shots to pick up her first NCAA shutout in a 2-0 win against Merrimack Saturday and finished the weekend with a.938 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average in two wins.

Vendula Pribyolva, ME (Fr., F; Olomouc, Czech Republic) Had a three-point weekend to factor in on all three Black Bears goals last week, notching two goals and an assist in Maine's one-game set with UConn.

Brittany Bugalski, NU (So., G; Boynton Beach, Fla.) Picked up a pair of ties on the weekend, stopping 56 of 61 shots for a .918 save percentage and allowing 2.31 goals per game. She stopped a season-high 36 Sunday.

Brooke Boquist, PC (Jr., F; Thunder Bay, Ont.) Had four points (2g, 2a) including 2g, 1a and the game-winner in a 6-3 triumph over New Hampshire Saturday.

Alyssa Gorecki, UVM (So., F; Monee, Ill.) Scored twice against Northeastern to push a 3-3 tie with the Huskies.

Madison Litchfield, UVM (Sr., G; Williston, Vt.) Kicked out 24 pucks to preserve a 3-3 stalemate with No. 10 Northeastern Friday and stopped 31 shots Sunday in a 1-1 draw against UConn.
