Morgan Beikirch (Livonia, N.Y. / Syracuse Stars) was credited with the assist
The Colonials defense battled in the second after giving up an early score to the Terriers three minutes into the period.
The game would remain tied 1-1 until Boston found its offensive groove in the last 12 minutes of the game scoring three times to shut-down Robert Morris for the night. Freshman Melissa Anderson picked up three assists for the Terriers in her first collegiate game.
The Colonials will face-off again with Boston at the RMU Island Sports Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. on Saturday October 7 at 2:05 p.m. for the second game of the series.
