CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Kelli Stack scored two goals to twice tie the game but the Eagles were unable to pull out an overtime victory against the Vermont Catamounts on Sunday night at Kelley Rink.

BC is now 7-0-3, 4-0-2 in Hockey East action, while Vermont is 1-4-5, 0-4-2 in the conference.

Despite keeping the Catamounts to only two shots in the first eight minutes of play, BC fell behind early as Vermont capitalized on its second shot of the game as Erin Wente scored at 8:28 off a pass from Kailey Nash and Danielle Rancourt.

The Eagles were unable to respond until the second period when Kelli Stack scored at 8:02 to tie the game. The rest of the period amounted to a back-and-forth battle as the Catamounts tallied a second goal at 9:18 only to be answered by Stack once again at 9:43 to end the second frame tied 2-2.

The Eagles had 10 shots in the third and six in overtime but were unable to get past Catamounts' goalie Roxanne Douville.

BC outshot Vermont 37-22, 16-8 in the last two frames. Goalie Kiera Kingston made 20 saves in her first start this season.

Next up, BC travels to St. Lawrence for a weekend series November 12-13.
