DURHAM, N.H. - University of New Hampshire sophomore Carlee Turner (Scottsdale, Ariz.) tallied her fifth goal of the season as the Wildcats fell to the #4 Colgate Raiders 2-1 on Saturday evening at the Whittemore Center.

Turner's goal came 19:36 into the first period on a late power play. She was assisted by Amy Schlagel (Blaine, Minn.) and Tori Howran (Bancroft, Ontario). Colgate would then answer back with a power play goal of their own mid-way through the second period. In the third, the Raiders would outshoot the Wildcats 16-6 and would tally the game-winning strike 17:25 into the final period to get the 2-1 victory.

Freshman goaltender Ava Boutilier (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) made 36 saves in the contest but was handed her third loss of the season, giving her a 6-3-3 record overall.

GAME RECAP

- The Wildcats got a late penalty 19:36 into the first period; Amy Schlagel took a shot right after the faceoff, which was saved and rebounded to Turner, who was able to knock it through the crowd to the left of the crease into the net giving UNH a 1-0 lead.

- Over a span of three penalties in six minutes, the Raiders got their equalizer on a power play 8:04 into the second period.

- Colgate got many chances in the third period, taking 15 shots on goal in the period; 17:25 into the period the Raiders were finally able to poke one through the legs of Boutilier.

- The Wildcats pulled their goaltender with 1:35 remaining, but weren't able to get a shot on net.
