AMESBURY, Mass. – Hockey East announced today that Merrimack junior forward Matt Copponi (Mansfield, Mass.) has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at 1:19 of the second period on Friday, December 1 against Boston University. Copponi is ineligible to play Saturday, December 2 at Boston University and is able to return to the Warriors’ lineup on Friday, December 8 at Yale.
