AMESBURY, Mass. – Hockey East announced today that Boston University sophomore forward Sacha Boisvert (Trois-Rivières, Que.) and UMass Lowell senior forward Connor Eddy (Victoria, B.C.) have suspended for two games each stemming from an incident at 11:15 of the third period on Friday, January 16. Boisvert is ineligible to play Friday, January 23-24 against Providence and is able to return to the Terriers’ lineup on Friday, January 30 against Boston College. Eddy is ineligible to play Friday, January 23-24 against Maine and is able to return to the River Hawks’ lineup on Friday, February 1 against Massachusetts.

“What took place on the ice Friday at Agganis Arena was entirely unacceptable and has no place in college hockey,” said Steve Metcalf, Hockey East Commissioner.

Hockey East will have no further comment on this matter.
