HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Macklin Celebrini - Boston University

The 17-year-old Celebrini leads the entire nation with eight goals and is first among NCAA rookies with 11 points, a mark that also leads Hockey East. He record- ed at least two points in five of the Terriers’ six games and scored a goal in all but one of those six appearances, with three multi-goal games. His first three-point game came on Oct. 27 when he notched one goal and two assists in a 5-2 win at UMass.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Jack Musa - Massachusetts

Musa piled up 10 points in seven games in October, the second-most among all first-year players in the NCAA. He began his NCAA career with a four-game point streak that included three multi-point outings and has at least two points in four of his seven outings. Two of his goals came on the power play and he won 60% of his faceoffs.

ARMY ROTC DEFENDER OF THE MONTH

Scott Morrow - Massachusetts

Morrow ranks second on the team in scoring with nine points in a 4-2-1 month for UMass, which included six matchups against ranked teams. He had back-to-back multi-point games against No. 6 Michigan (1g, 1a) and No. 19/20 Minnesota State (3a), both 6-3 victories for the Minutemen and helped UMass post a 1-0 shutout on the road at No. 19/20 Minnesota State to complete a weekend sweep of the Mavericks.

STOP IT GOALTENDING GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH

Jacob Fowler - Boston College

Fowler has backboned Boston College to the top ranking in both polls entering November, posting a 5-1-0 record that included four games against top-10 programs. His five wins are tied for second-most in the NCAA. He has allowed two or fewer goals in three of his six starts and ended the month with a 43-save performance in a 5-1 win. His 2.15 goals against average ranks eighth in the NCAA among netminders with at least five games played.
