WALTHAM, Mass. - Bentley handed No. 6 Boston College its first loss of the season with a 6-2 victory in the Eagles' first-ever visit to The Bentley Arena on Saturday night.
Cole Kodsi led the Falcons (2-2-0) with a pair of goals, while Nicholas Grabko registered 38 saves for the win in net. BC fell to 2-1-1 (1-0-0 HEA) on the year.
Kodsi opened the scoring at 13:09 of the first period when he beat Henry Wilder (27 saves) glove side with a quick shot from the slot. Wilder later robbed Kodsi with a right pad save on a penalty shot in the second period.
The Falcons extended their lead early in the third period with a pair of goals in just 33 seconds from Kodsi and Collin Rutherford.
Jack McBain stuffed a puck inside the left post at 4:54 of the third period to put the Eagles on the board, but Bentley responded at 6:15 when Eric Lanell's shot trickled through Wilder's pads.
Following a fifth Falcons tally, Marc McLaughlin buried a rebound to make it 5-2, but Bentley had another answer with 5:29 left in regulation to seal the win.
