BOSTON - Jakov Novak scored a pair of goals, while Jordan Harris and Aidan McDonough added scores of their own as the Northeastern men's hockey team (7-3-0, 4-2-0 Hockey East) took down the University of New Hampshire Wildcats (3-6-0, 1-4-0 Hockey East) by a score of 4-1 at Matthews Arena to comeplete the home-and-home sweep.
- Novak's two goals (4) bring his weekend total to four, all coming against the Wildcats.
- McDonough's goal came on the power play, and was his Hockey East leading eighth of the season.
- Harris' goal (2) came off of a fluky bounce off the UNH goaltender's blocker, and the senior captain added an assist on McDonough's goal.
- Devon Levi was stellar between the pipes, making 34 saves en route to his seventh collegiate win while NU netminder only gave up one goal in each game this weekend.
- Alex Mella added an assist in his first appearance of the season, the second of his career on Novak's second goal.
- Marco Bozzo also notched his first point of the season with an assist on Novak's second goal.
